DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1: CUSCO-OLLANTAYTAMBO- SANTA TEREZA.MACHUPICCHU.

We pick you up from your hotel at 7:30 a.m. for our journey by bus or Van our trip will be with scenic ride to Ollantaytambo, Here we will have a chance to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the area, we have a short stop for 30 minutes.

From there, we will continue the road to "Habra de Malaga" 4,316 m. with spectacular landscapes (pasture lands) some llamas and alpacas on the area. After the stop on the pass a brief stop, we start to descent into the jungle, passing through the different micro-climates that combine the paradisiacal landscapes of the majestic snow-capped peaks with the hot, tropical entrance to the rainforest.

We will continue the trip until to reach the Alfamayo village. Still the road is paved. Until to arrive to Santa Maria 1575m. Of altitude, here we will have a break then to continue to Santa Teresa where we will have our lunch in a local restaurant. After to enjoy the lunch we will continue to the train station of Machu Picchu Hydroelectric Plant. Here we will catch the train to Aguas Calientes or Machupicchu town over night in a comfortable lodging.

DAY 2: MACHUPICCHU-CUSCO.

Early wake up call at 4:30pm to have enough time to climb up the steep path to the MACHU PICCHU Sanctuary in about 1:30 h. and watch the sunrise, then you will have a private guiding for about 2hours, . After the tour you will be able to enjoy some free time until approximately 11:30 am, which is the recommended time to catch the bus to the train station. The train departure to the hydroelectric plant from Aguas Calientes at 12:35 pm.

Upon our arrival to the hydroelectric plant, we will transfer in a private bus or van, which will take us to Santa Teresa. Here we will have one hour break for some food or use the restroom before back to Cusco by the same road that we used before from Cusco. We will arrive to Cusco around 9:30pm.
