The INCA TRAIL management authorities have recently made a number of changes to the regulations governing the INCA TRAIL and MACHU PICCHU.

1. Spaces on the INCA TRAIL are now on a first come, first served basis and bookings will be as early as possible.

2. Permits sell out 6, 8 months prior to departure dates.

3. Permits are sold on a non refundable, non transferable basis and are limited to 500 persons per day, including passengers, guides, cooks and porters.

4. If you cancel your booking departure we will lose the permit that we have purchased.

5. If you wish to transfer to another departure we will lose the permit that we have purchased and will pay again the permit charge.

6. Booking can only be made If we are supplied with your FULL NAME, PASSPORT NUMBERS, GENDER, OCCUPATION, NATIONALITY AND DATE OF BIRTH. all information as it appears on your passport.

7. At the time we confirm your trek, we registered all the personal information that you send us with the INCA TRAIL management authorities on the official trek permit.

8. The trek permit is a legal document with specific restrictions limiting changes. You must bring the same passport with you on the trek.

9. If you change your passport also bring your old passport with on the trek.

10. If the information you originally supplied differs from what actually appears on your passport, park authorities may refuse access to the INCA TRAIL.

11. STUDENT DISCOUNT If you are a student under 26 years old with a valid International Student Identity Card (ISIC) you may be eligible for a reduced rate for your trail ticket. In order to qualify as a student, we must receive documentation that you are a student when you register for the trek. Send us (as an email attachment) a digital version of your ISIC (.JPG is best) currently valid expiry date. You must bring with you on the trek, Students who can not show to park authorities have to pay the full adult rate. Passengers must bring their passport and student ID on the trek.

12. Students 15 years old or younger don't need International Student Identity Card, you must send us (as an email attachment) a digital version of your passport to show at the time to book your trip. Note: if there is no correct documentation, the park authority will issue only the adult ticket at the full adult rate. Conditions for the student discount are subject to change by the INC with no advance notice. Additionally, passengers purchase student ticket but don't bring student ID the park authorities confiscating the student ticket and denying you the right to proceed with the trek.
